Tapestry is a rare textile art form woven by hand on a weaving loom.  Tapestries use weft faced weaving meaning that all the warp threads remain hidden in the completed work which is unlike cloth weaving where warp and weft threads are left visible.  These tapestries take an age to make and a huge amount of skill is used in order to produce the highest quality weaves.  We have an amazing selection of tapestry rugs to choose from, many of these featuring stunning artwork produced from the blueprints of great period artists.
